What To Pack: Father’s Day Travel Tips

Father’s Day is almost here.  Hip Hip Daddy Hooray! And for those Hip Daddys hittin’ the road with the kids, we’ve got some essential items you need to be packin’.  A weekend get away, a surprise trip to the islands, or maybe even a little city ‘staycation’, we’ve got you covered…

It all starts with the underwear.  Dad needs to be comfy in all areas (if you know what we are saying…#just) and a good pair of boxer briefs will set the foundation for any Hip Daddy travel outfit.  Look no further than our friends at Mack Weldon.  Their Weekender pack is downright cool, curated by Mad Men costume designer Janie Bryant, and includes some undies, socks and a basic tee.  This is all you need for any start to Father’s Day weekend.

The bag.  All important.  Durable, stylish and easy to travel.  The fine folks in Duluth, Minnesota have you covered.  The Mini Safari Duffel Bag from Duluth Pack is perfect for any weekend, especially one for Dad!

A ball.  Every Hip Daddy likes to a throw a baseball with their child.  On the beach, in the yard, poolside…you need a ball.  And this beauty (made in Detroit) from Shinola is all you need to get some weekend fun.  It fits nicely in any bag and looks good in any glove.  Get one.  American Made.

A boardshort.  We like bathing suits here at Hip Daddy.  And you know we are liking Vissla, for Creators and Innovators! These burnt orange Cutback Boarshorts are simply and stylishly Hip Daddy Approved.  Rock Father’s Day with Vissla.

Time to play.  Pack it up, and let Father’s Day Weekend begin!
