Makerbot Industries is a 3D printing company from Brooklyn that is quite simply, awesome.   Makerbot is “leading the Next Industrial Revolution by setting the standard in reliable and affordable desktop 3D printing”…wow, kind of a pretty cool company description.  And even more exciting as it relates to our Hip Daddy children, they are on a mission via Makerbot Academy to put a printer in every school in America! In the meantime, take the kids to the Makerbot Boston store on Newbury Street and check out their ‘Young Explorers’ program– a  2 hour class where they teach kids ages 6-15 the basics of 3D design software.   Sometimes a company comes along that needs immediate notice from all.  Makerbot is one of them.  Enjoy.  Hip Daddy Approved.
