Opening Ceremony was established in 2002 by two friends from UC Berkeley as a place to share their passions for travel, art, and fashion.  One decade later, they are a global community with outposts (i.e. beautiful stores) in LA, New York, London and Tokyo with amazing product every Hip Daddy needs to check out.

Known for their private label and exclusive collaborations, Opening Ceremony continues to grow “according to its founding principles of exploration and friendship, working with a family of contributors to forge a creative environment that reaches far beyond the fashion world.”  Speaking of the collaboration piece, they always seem to develop partnerships with awesome brands to curate a hard-to-get product everyone wants.  Their latest collab with YOOX.com around the World Cup is a must see.  And yes, the kid’s line is to die for, check out the Opening Ceremony by A For swimsuit collab.  (And btw, the overall name is pretty cool…inspired by the modern Olympic Games….we can get behind that inspiration for sure!)
