A learning thermostat?  The Nest was just acquired by Google for $3.2 Billion dollars.  That is a Billion folks.  That leads me to believe they have created something special with this brilliant product coming out of San Fran.

Nest’s mission is “to reinvent unloved but important devices in the home such as thermostats and smoke alarms and to build simple, thoughtful devices that make life easier at home, and that have a positive impact on the world.”  That is a pretty cool mission and purpose, especially for all you Hip Daddys out there who aim to provide a safe haven for your children.  So go get it now…
