Back to School is here, and every Hip Daddy loves this time of year. Okay, a bit depressing to say goodbye to summertime bbq’s and wiffle ball games, but school is here…let the learning begin. And yes, the anxiety waiting for the email detailing class lists and teachers is like no other…likely more stressful for the parents than the kids. Alas, that’s who we are.
When it comes to BTS, Hip Daddy is all about curation and editing, which means identifying those 5 (and only 5) things that every Hip Daddy should consider ‘Must Haves’ when it comes to BTS shopping. So here we go…
1.) A great shoe is the start of it all. Vans.
Yes, we love a simple Converse White Chuck Taylor, but the Vans X Star Wars Collaboration is to die for. 2.) And let’s not forget the jacket. Levi’s.
Levi’s has been doing it right for decades, and their kids collection is simply awesome. Go Forth young man or girl? Yes you can. Especially in their Trucker Jacket, which is rugged yet simply stylish, and quite frankly, adorable on any Hip Daddy girl or boy. This “adventure-set uniform” will leave your children exploring, creating, and hopefully learning…in the Classic Levi’s way.
3.) The Right Supplies are a Must. Target.
Lots of options here. But come on now, Target always seems to be doing something cool for the kids. They are indeed the ultimate destination for all BTS accessories and overall fun. Their “Buy One Give One” Program is brilliant thinking and something all Hip Daddys can get behind. They donated $25million of school supplies to the Kids In Need Foundation enabling 1.8million kids to have school supplies they otherwise would not have…nice work. We especially love their Locker Accessories, such as this killer Disco Ball (shown below.) 4.) And where does the homework go? Fjällräven.
Fjall Raven makes awesome backpacks, and why wouldn’t they, they are from Sweden!
