Canvas Bag Machine: A Great Name & A Great Bag.

Hip Daddy loves storytelling, and Canvas Bag Machine is a good one.  Her name was Rose, she began sewing canvas bags and awnings in the 1950’s in Greenwich, Connecticut.  In the 1970’s she moved to Lincolnville, Maine where she continued to sew year after year.  With her ability to create canvas bags, luggage, and even beach pails, Rose created a lifestyle for herself and her family that would live on.  Today, Canvas Bag Machine, as third generation stitchers, is creating product that is hard to miss and is most definitely Hip Daddy Approved.  (And we also love their ‘clean’ website and overall brand design, well done.)

We like a stylish bag, but we also need a functional bag.  With the kids in tow, the more pockets and compartments the better.     From the Standard to the Samwise to the Summit, they have the Modern Day Dad covered whether it be a day at the beach, a weekend away, or a playdate in the park!  The quality fabrics and construction combine to create a bag for you and the lifestyle you live.

The bags are made to order, no two bags are exactly the same, and they offer a custom program that might just be the perfect Father’s Day gift idea…#justsaying.   Hip Daddy likes a family company.  We like the moniker ‘Made in New England.’  We like a brand with a story to tell.  We like Canvas Bag Machine.  Check them out, Rose would be proud.
