First, Carmel is one of the most beautiful places in the United States, #facts.  The northern California coastline is a sight to see, and the shops on Ocean Avenue are simply perfect (Fourtane is the spot for your next Rolex btw.)

But Pebble Beach is just stunning.  If you ever get an invite to play those majestic 18 holes, do it, stat.  Now when the PGA Tour comes to town in February for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, all stars align.  From celebrities to quarterbacks to musicians to actors, the Pro-Am is where they get teamed with a pro and commence days of golf and lots of laughs.  It’s one big party with golf in between.  Yes they changed the format a bit this year to attract higher Tour talent, but still, the golf viewing is like no other….the sun, the surf, the blue skies (well until the wind picks up and the clouds roll in fast), you cannot take a bad snap or pic.  After a long day on the course, nights at The Lodge or Roys outside at Spanish Bay are a must.
